Just far enough to find us. When you walk into the Bar Z tasting room, you're not walking into a stuffy wine bar. You're walking into the result of years of hard work, obsessive craft, and a whole lot of Texas grit. Pull up a seat, try something new, and if Monty's around—ask him about the wine. He'll happily bend your ear.
high plains, high standards
Every pour at Bar Z starts with Texas grapes—specifically from the Texas High Plains AVA, where deep soil, high altitude, and big temperature swings between day and night create conditions that produce something genuinely special. These aren't wines that needed Napa to vouch for them. They've gone up against Napa and brought home the gold.
The tasting room is open seven days a week, because good wine doesn't take weekdays off.
